Despite an 8.4 percent increase to the price per meal, District 122 will keep its 2012-13 lunch prices at $3.

The district received $47,949 from Preferred Meal Systems as a credit for the commodities that went unused in the 2010-11 school year. That, along with federal meal reimbursements, help offset the increase.

Students on the reduced meal program will continue to pay $0.40 per meal.
