New Lenox Girl Performs Good Deed

A third-grader from New Lenox showed her true colors, Sun-Times Media reports.

A New Lenox girl who performed a good deed was recognized by the New Lenox School District 122 Board of Education.

While on a field trip to see a play at Governors State University, University Park, Haley Greco, a third-grader, happened upon a $10 bill. Instead of considering it her good fortune and pocketing it, she turned it over to university staff, according to a Sun-Times Media report.

Consequently, she and her family received free tickets to an upcoming play.
