LW-Central Homecoming Parade is Sunday
Whether you want to attend the parade or avoid it while driving, we've got the info you need for Sunday and the rest of Lincoln-Way Central's Homecoming schedule.
We all love a parade. And this Sunday is 's Homecoming parade, featuring marching bands, student organizations and more.
The parade leaves at noon, heading east on Joliet Highway. Then it goes left at Schoolhouse Road, through Route 30, and into the northeast entrance at Lincoln-Way Central High School.
This event kicks off Homecoming Week for the Knights. Other events include:

- Homecoming Olympics, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday in the Central Fieldhouse
- , 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Rosenquist Theater
- Homecoming Olympics Final, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Fieldhouse
- Bonfire, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday by the Greenhouse
- Pep Rally, 9:17 a.m. to 10:12 a.m. Friday in the Fieldhouse
- 5K run, 9 a.m. Saturday
The Knights football team plays at 7:30 p.m. Friday against Lockport, and students will head to the dance the following night from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
