D210 Supt. Scott Tingley Welcomes Back 7,400 Students

Scott Tingley, Lincoln-Way High School Dist. 210's new superintendent, visited all four high schools Aug. 20, the first day of classes.



Lincoln-Way High School District 210 Supt. Scott Tingley welcomed 7,400 students at the four high schools on the first day of classes, Aug. 20.

Tingley is new on the job. He replaced former Supt. Lawrence Wyllie, who retired in June after 24 years at the helm.

The district hired 25 new teachers for the 2013-2014 school year. Tingley said 10 of those are LWHS D210 graduates. "They're familiar with our culture," he said.
