D122 Holds Semiannual Planning Meeting Tonight

The Board of Education will meet to discuss the district's five-year financial forecast, the superintendent's evaluation and more.

The New Lenox School District 122 will meet tonight to discuss future financial planning and the evaluation of Supt. Mike Sass.

The meeting is one of two strategic planning sessions the school board holds every year. The other, held in January, largely addresses upcoming budget solutions. At this meeting, according to the agenda, the board will get an update on the district's five-year financial forecast, as well as discuss strategy development for a bond/interest fund and facility needs plus related funding options.

The board meets today from 3:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the , 102 S. Cedar Road. There will be a brief break for dinner at about 5:30 and the board will meet in executive session at about 6:30, but the remainder of the meeting is open to the public.
