Lincoln-Way Toastmasters sends Two to Division "F" Contest

On September 22nd, Lincoln-Way Toastmasters moved to the next level of contests, receiving second place in the Humorous Speech Competition and first place in the Tall Tales Competition.

On September 22nd, Lincoln-Way Toastmasters moved to the next level of contests.  Local residents, Jim Katula received second place in the Humorous Speech Competition at  the Area 60 Contest and David Booth received first place in the Tall Tales Competition.

Jim Katula feels that “Toastmasters has improved my life by making sure that I am better prepared to handle speaking situations that arise. Every day, we are called on to speak and respond to questions on any topic. Toastmasters has allowed me to thrive under  pressure instead of withering. I joined Toastmasters to help me become a better speaker, but it has really made me a better person.”
