For Those Who Serve -- Hero Dogs of the Community

FOR THOSE WHO SERVE -- 9/11 A patriotic evening honoring dogs!!!! You are cordially invited: STONE CITY KENNEL CLUB HONORS OUR CANINE COMPANIONS WHO SERVE THE COMMUNITY ALONG WITH THEIR PARTNERS.

An old saying is: "Dogs are man's best friend".  The community is invited to share with special dogs who have served us in many unique ways that more than prove that old saying.  An awards presentation will be held at Lincoln-Way Central on 9/11 to honor those dogs who serve.  Many of these dogs have been more than our best friends.  Some have provided life saving assistance.

This will be a patriotic evening and all citizens (especially dog lovers) are cordially invited to attend.  This is a way for all of us to remember the tragedy and celebrate the heroism of 9/11.  The evening will be highlighted by a patriotic keynote address; exciting video presentations; music/song; a historical interpretation of taps and individual awards to very special dogs and their partners.  Come and learn about the many unbelievable ways these dogs have served all of us.  Some of the dogs being honored are search and rescue dogs, police dogs, therapy dogs, service dogs, vet therapy dogs and school protection dogs.  At the end of the evening a reception will be held for all to meet and greet these special dogs and their partners.

The event will be held on 9/11 at Lincoln-Way Central High School in the Rosenquist Auditorium starting at 7 p.m.  It is sponsored by the Stone City Kennel Club, Lincoln-Way High School District 210, PreLabs, Clear H2O, and Tuckers Doggie Delights.  Please come and honor those who serve.
