New Life Church REEL Men Host 4th Annual Children's Fishing Outing

New Life Church REEL Men will host their 4th annual Children's Fishing Outing on August 4.

 

The REEL Men of New Life Church are hosting their 4th annual fishing outing on Saturday, August 4, at Nelson Prairie/Nelson Ridge Schools in New Lenox (approximately ½ mile south of Laraway Road on the east side of Nelson Road). All area youth are invited to participate.

There is no registration fee, but please sign up in advance by email at nlcreelmen@comcast.net or after any of the weekend services at New Life Church (Saturday, 5 p.m.; Sunday, 9 and 11 a.m.), 500 Gougar Road, New Lenox. Participants may also register on site beginning at 9:15 a.m. at the park on August 4. Fishing will start at 10:00 a.m. and finish around 11:00 a.m. Awards will be given to children in these age categories: 11 years and up, 7 – 10 years,  6 years and under.

Lunch will also be served after fishing and awards. The parent or guardian accompanying child at the outing should have a current 2012 Illinois fishing license. (1 day licenses available at WalMart or Kmart.) Don't have a fishing pole? The REEL Men will have extra poles and bait available as well. Visit www.nlcreelmen.org for more information.
