What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?

Keeping the quality of the schools at the highest possible level, and at a cost the taxpayers can afford.

Why Are You Seeking Office?

Having lived in New Lenox for over 40 years and put two sons through the school system I want to continue to provide our children the best possible education at the most affordable cost.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

Being retired with just a part time job I will be able to spend more time with the administration, teachers, and parents. This will enable me to learn more how well we are providing the best education for our students.

How will you lend stability to the board?

Having been in numerous management positions I always felt that listening to others was the best way to solve a problem.

How will you work to balance the budget?

You first need to establish goals. You then look at available recources. It is like your household where the input of funds matches the output of expenses. Sometimes tough decisions have to be made to balance out the budget. This is where discussion with all parties is necessary.

How will you represent all taxpayers in the district?

I would invite all comments from the the school board members, administration, parents, and citizens to call or email me with their comments. After hearing from them I would respond in a expedient manner. Only by having input from many sources can you gain enough knowledge to make sound decisions.

Please add any other information pertinent to your campaign.
