What sets you apart from the other candidates?

Not knowing the other candidates, I can only state that I have organizational skills, board and council experience, and a willingness to serve.

What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?

If elected, I will focus on service to the library patrons as a primary goal, and friendly attitude of all staff as a prority.

Why Are You Seeking Office?

Long time patron of the library (47 years), willing to bring previous experience and service to the board.

What are the biggest issues facing the library district?

Not knowing the facts regarding library finances, I can only guess there are budgetary constraints that limit the hours that the library is open.

How can you keep spending to a minimum while keeping up with the demand for e-readers and the like?

Budget and/or finance committee review with the board of trustees to determine priorities of services and expenditures.

What programs would you like to see expanded or enhanced?

Expanded hours of service, if budget allows.
