Names in the News: Cory Singer, GOP candidate for Will County Executive
Cory Singer, whose GOP headquarters is on Route 30 in New Lenox, Friday called for the Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. to drop out of the race for the 2nd Congressional District.
Cory Singer, who is running for Will County Executive against Democratic incumbent Larry Walsh, called on Jackson Jr. to "step down" from his post amid investigations by the U.S. House Ethics Committee and federal law enforcement.
He also called on Democratic opponents to pull their support of the Congressman at a rally Oct. 19 in front of the Will County Courthouse, Joliet.
