Library Board Election Petitions Available
Consider contributing to the community by serving on the board of trustees for the New Lenox Public Library.
Nominating petitions are now available for three six-year terms on the New Lenox Public Library District Board of Trustees. The election will be held on April 9, 2013.
Candidates must be registered voters and must reside within the district.
Packets may be picked up on or after Sept. 25 at the library, 120 Veterans Parkway in New Lenox during library hours, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
The first day to circulate nomination petitions is Sept. 26. Petitions may be filed at the library between 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17 and Monday, Dec. 24 at 5 p.m. Call the library at 815-485-2605 for more information.
