Library Board Election Petitions Available
Three trustee positions are open on the library board.
Nominating petitions are now available for three six-year terms on the New Lenox Public Library District Board of Trustees. The election will be held on April 9, 2013.
Candidates must be registered voters and must reside within the district. Packets may be picked up on or after Sept. 25 at the library, 120 Veterans Parkway in New Lenox during library hours, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
The first day to circulate nomination petitions is Sept. 26. Petitions may be filed at the library between 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17 and Monday, Dec. 24 at 5 p.m. Call the library at 815-485-2605 for more information.
The New Lenox Public Library is located at 120 Veterans Parkway, New Lenox, IL 60451. The library is open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Fridays from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
