These politicians are wasting our time. Find out who the electorates are in Illinois and ask them who they are going to elect. The electoral college elects the President, the Roman Empire. It works like the college of cardinals who elect the pope except there is no puff of smoke. Welcome to the dictatorship. If we want change, we need to restore the U.S.C and issue OUR OWN CURRENCY......U.S. BANK NOTES.

Really doesn't matter Obama will carry Illinois easy, which thankfully spares us a lot of political TV commercials.

Do not understand why Obama would pick on Romney's experience at BAIN! What great experience. The analytic skills he refined are tremendous for a President and it shows in his pick for Ryan with all kinds of skill and talent. Much better than say Palin.
Yet Obama failed miserably with his investment into Solyndra by the FEDS. We need a leader that really understands how to invest Americans hard earned profits into furthering USA. That choice is clear... Romney and Ryan.

You call making trillions of dollars by shipping US jobs overseas great? "Yet Obama failed miserably with his investment into Solyndra by the FEDS." He wasn't the only one to invest in a failed solar panel maker. Rmoney, as governor of Massachusetts, dumped a bunch of money into Konarka. "We need a leader that really understands how to invest Americans hard earned profits into furthering USA. That choice is clear... Romney and Ryan." A one-term governor who sells jobs to the lowest bidder and a congressman who has only had two bills he sponsored in the decade-plus he's been in the House pass? Give me a break.

Obama has managed to create more employee productivity, more tax revenue and lose jobs. Bush on the other hand increased exports and increased jobs much better.
These are the type of exports out of O’hare. Optical, photographic, cinematographic, & measuring equipment, Medical / surgical instruments Pharmaceutical products, Aircraft parts, Organic and inorganic chemicals, Rare-earth metals, Glass and glassware, Vehicles, parts and accessories Tools & cutlery Essential oils, soaps, perfume, Starches, glues, enzymes Furniture; Musical instruments & art Games and sports equipment Meat & fish, dairy produce, Beverages & spirits Apparel, foot ware Oil seeds / fruits, grains, seeds, Textiles & fabrics Clocks and watches Cut flowers In 2001 Chicago regional employment was about 3,500,000. In 2008 the region employed about 3,400,000. In 2009 under Obama the region employed about 3,200,000 and it continued to get worse to about 3,100,000 in 2010. Seems to me all of the export business has created a lot of jobs or at least kept the jobs stable until Obama arrived. Jobs plummeted yet dollars of exports did better. Now how can that be. So who is exporting the jobs. Must be Obama and whom is gaining more tax revenue must be Obama yet the debt skyrockets with Obama and less jobs more tax dollars.

Vote out all the crooks in CONgress and the Senate and replace them with all of us.
STM August 13, 2012 at 10:36 pm
I agree.
STM August 13, 2012 at 10:41 pm
That would be the only answer to the problem. But how do you vote them out?
I am all for it.

I wish all Americans including Illinois would vote this failure out of office. You don't promote someone with his record if you want things to improve- he must be fired. It's time for someone with new ideas to take over, if they fail then they should be fired. Why would people even debate if failure should be reelected. Obama has already proved he can't fix the economy with his failed policies and he doesn't have any different plans to fix it in the future. Romney/Ryan have my vote.

Isn't the next election for those jerks in 2 years...?
Brian August 15, 2012 at 07:18 pm
Joe.. I'm sure you voted for Bush too. Isn't he the jackass that got in this mess to begin with? I think so.
D. Page August 16, 2012 at 05:23 pm
The same idiots that elected Bush will vote for Romney. Diehard republicans have tunnel vision when it comes to voting for who's best for America.

I am constantly amazed by all of this talk about shipping jobs overseas. Companies wouldn't have to manufacture their products overseas if people would just buy what they make here. But, electrical regulations, govt. regulations, unions, benefits, safety regulations, and others requirements provide a product that costs more than a product made in say China. If you put an American made product on a counter and a much cheaper made product on the same counter with a lesser price guess which one the consumer will buy. No people it is you who forces companies overseas because you want a cheaper product. On my recent trip to China I asked some businessmen there what they buy and they said if they can afford it they buy American because of the quality. So quit blaming everyone else because you don't want to pay american prices yet you want American wages.

Ever try to buy a fake Christmas tree made in America....? There aren't any. So don't buy one. Everything the Govt Corp tries to sell US is fake.

People coming from the east will now have to fight through school traffic at Rt. 30/Schoolhouse.Read More People from southwest New Lenox will have to either venture up Cedar, which is painfully slow... or take Spencer from Laraway, in which they will have to cross Rt. 30 to go straight. Won't be an easy picnic.
