Two Joliet residents nabbed for driving without valid licenses

Leonardo Medina, 25, Joliet, was pulled over at Nelson and Spencer Roads because a computer check indicated that registered owner of the car had no valid license. Medina was cited for that offense and as well as for during an uninsured vehicle.

Alisha Gavins, 31, Joliet, was stopped when police ran her vehicle's registration, revealing that the owner had no valid license. She was issued a ticket for that violation and another for driving an uninsured vehicle.

Someone from the 600 block of Buckboard Drive notified police after receiving several phone calls from someone who kept hanging up. The matter is under investigation.

FRIDAY, FEB. 15

Driving on a suspended license

Jonathan Jackson, 30, Joliet, was pulled over after a random registration check at Nelson and Laraway Roads revealed a registration violation. He was cited for driving on a suspended license.

Tires flattened

Police were called to the 700 block of Sojourn Road on a complaint that someone had flattened the tires on three vehicles parked in the driveway and in the street. The matter is under investigation for criminal damage to property.
