Unwanted Man at 7-Eleven: Police Blotter
Theft in one way or another fills the list of complaints that New Lenox police deal with at the end of December.

Man makes clerk at 7-Eleven uncomfortable
Allen Sharp, 57, Chicago, was arrested after police got a call for help from a clerk at 7-Eleven Convenience store, Route 30 and Cedar Road. According to the report, the clerk called police to have the man removed from the store. At that time, police discovered that he was wanted on a Cook County warrant for failure to appear.7-Eleven did not file a complaint.

Sharp was booked in the Will County jail. A $10,000 bond is set.

Theft takes different shapes
- Fraud
Police say a resident from the 2900 block of Northwind Street, filed a fraud complaint after realizing that someone opened a credit card using his name.
- Deceptive Practices
Someone from Ace Hardware Store, 300 block of W. Route 30, filed a complaint for deceptive practices. According to the report, someone cashed a check that was under dispute and a stop payment was requested.
- A drive-off from a gas station
Police say a clerk from Circle K gas station, 400 block of Nelson Road, filed a complaint when someone drove off without paying for gas. The value of the gas was not noted in the report.
Driving on a suspended license
Trista Robinson, 23, Joliet, was stopped in her car in the 1800 block of Route 30, after a random registration check. A computer check revealed that she was driving on a suspended license. She was ticketed for the violation.
