UPDATE:
Tuesday--9:40 p.m.
Illinois State Police Sgt. Jeff Padilla said the driver of the semi-truck had passed out at the wheel after having taken some medication. He was in the right lane of traffic and drifted across all four lanes, clipping the front-end of the SUV.
The trailer went all the way left into the wire median, where it came to a stop. The SUV rolled into the right ditch.
Both drivers received non-life threatening injuries, according to Padilla.
The semi-truck driver was issued a ticked for improper lane use. The identities of the two were not released.

BTW, getting ON? Realize that you are getting onto an i-n-t-e-r-s-t-a-t-e...that means you're no longer puttering around New Lenox, rolling through stop signs: ya` gotta keep up now!
@Mom, leave your phone at home, if you love your Boys.
The Semi had driven from the rightmost lane all the way across the grass median between the west and eastbound lanes, and stopped against the guard wires on the eastbound lane. The SUV was in the left hand westbound lane, and had skidded across the road to end up flipping over on the ditch on the right side of the road. Just take care when driving. That could have been any of us.
That said, it also amazes me how many people don't know how to get OFF a highway... how about trying to slow down in behind someone trying to get on the highway instead of speeding ahead of them to slam the brakes so they can't accelerate.... Also... if traffic is trying to merge and you have an open lane away from the merging traffic, flippin move over and let them in!!!!!
