This week's top headline in New Lenox Patch revealed that LA Café, which burned down in January 2012, will not be reopening.

News that the popular Mexican restaurant, LA Café, would not be reopening was tough to swallow for a lot of readers.

The restaurant burned down in January 2012, and even up till three months ago, restaurant owner Marc Angel was looking forward to reopening the spot. What will open in the same location is Mattina Café, currently located at 426 E. Lincoln Highway.

I cannot believe you are continuing to run this story online after the judge put a gag order on this case. Joe Hosey is a scumbag and now I won't trust the Patch for other news.

The lights are on but no one's home at The New Lenox Patch anymore. Stories sit here for days, the "breaking news" is one or two days old , if you could actually call what is reported breaking news. School bus in a fender-bender or another accident on 80 is now a big scoop for the Patch. I notice that any stories that involve New Lenox government don't stay up for too long because of the negative comments about our triple-dipping mayor. I know for a fact that there is more going on in this town than someones cat getting stuck in a tree or "advice" how to drive in the snow.

Posting the details about the Joliet murder as the front-page headline was a HUGE mistake by the Herald News, and I'm extremely disappointed to see it being covered here as well. I, and especially my kids, don't need to know about such evil. It adds absolutely ZERO VALUE to our lives. I swear, I'm so sick of bad news, I don't know why I bother with the news at all. I have to keep telling myself, life really isn't so bad. There's really so much more good than evil, only we would never know that in what gets covered.

We can be thankful the Patch doesn't have the autopsy photos or they would print them too. This is really what they went with: op Headlines: LA Café Will Not Reopen; Accused Killers had Sex on Corpses I'd sue them if I owned that eatery that was mentioned alongside that crime.

Now now. Come on people. Joseph is a good guy. Everyone settle down & remember that everyone is human & mistakes get made..... Throwing stones near glass houses.... I won't do it. Stop for a moment & say to yourself.... Do I really need to say a negative hurtful comment or instead go hug a loved one? Love each other!!! xoxoxo

The gag order is for the attorneys not the press. It was put in place so the attorneys can't release any further information to the reporters. The information that had been previously released was not "new". People complain about the government keeping things from the public and in the same breath complain when they hear the truth.
