The Wire: Swindler Tried to Con New Lenox Company Into Wiring Money
The crook targeted a New Lenox medical supply company.
A grifter tried tricking representatives of a New Lenox medical supply company into wiring him money, police said.
The crook reportedly reached out to Professional Medical Inc. on Garnet Court Monday afternoon.
An "officer was dispatched to Professional Medical Inc. reference a report of fraud," police said. "The complainant advised that an unknown person attempted to have the company wire money into an account under fraudulent pretenses."
