Shorewood Man Accused of Breaking into Home: Blotter

Police are investigating a burglary to a vehicle that happened around 10:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of Ferro Drive, according to a report. The victim said someone broke in and removed a GPS unit. No arrests were reported.

Home Burglary


Troy M. Edens, 31, of the 1902 block of Parkside Drive, Shorewood, was charged with felony residential burglary and trespassing, according to a reports. Police were called at about 4:08 p.m. to the 1100 block of West Maple Road. Edens allegedly was spotted climbing through a window in the home. He was arrested and taken to the Will County jail.
