Sheriff's Blotter: Tools, Riding Mower Stolen in New Lenox

SATURDAY, SEPT. 3

Mower Stolen

A riding mower, a snow thrower, an edger and a weed whacker were reported stolen from a shed in the 22000 block of South Farm View Road in New Lenox.

Suspended License

Quentyn D. Myers, 21, of the 200 block Anderson Street in New Lenox, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no seat belt in Homer Glen.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 31

DUI Charges

Katlin M. Wacyra, 21, of the 800 block of Stonegate Road in New Lenox, was arrested for possession of drug equipment, driving under the influence and speeding after police stopped her near South Briggs and New Lenox roads in Joliet. A passenger in the car, Daniel L. Brandt, 20, of Joliet, was charged with illegal transportation of alcohol.

Tools Stolen

Someone broke into a garage at Rightway Auto and Truck, in the 1000 block of South Cedar Road, and stole various tools, according to a police report.
