SATURDAY, SEPT. 24

Car Accident

Brett J. Lavallee, 18, of the 1500 block of Kroll Court in New Lenox, was cited for the failure to yield at a stop sign after entering the intersection and hitting another car. The accident was at Ballou and Old Chicago roads in Wilmington. Lavallee and one passenger were taken to Silver Cross Hospital to be treated for injuries.

No License

Juan C. Murillo, 39, of Joliet, was charged with driving without a valid license and driving without insurance after he was stopped in New Lenox. He was given traffic tickets.

Tools Stolen

Someone stole $15,000 worth of hand tools and power tools from an attached garage at a home in the 100 block of Robert Road in New Lenox.

Prescription Meds Stolen

Someone entered three unlocked cars in the 100 block of Kalarama Drive in New Lenox and stole prescription medication, $85 cash, two iPhones and a shirt.
