A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for the Lincoln-Way communities.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the Lincoln-Way communities. 

Severe thunderstorms were spotted in the area of Newark in Kendall County. The storm is moving east at 30 mph. 

Wind gusts of up to 60 mph are possible. There is a potential for damage to trees, roof tops and siding, according to the National Weather Service website.
