New Lenox cops checking out a rollover accident charged the man behind the wheel with driving under the influence.

Nicholas Golich, 25, of 1010 Grandview Drive also was charged with possession of drug equipment, reckless driving and failure to reduce speed.

Golich reportedly crashed about 1:45 a.m. in the 1600 block of Nelson Road.

An officer responding to the one-car wreck "could detect the odor of burnt cannabis," police said. "The officer discovered that the driver was under the influence of alcohol and was in possession of drug equipment."

Golich was released after posting bond.
