Police Nab New Lenox Woman in Theft of $12K Ring

Christina Egdorf, 28, of New Lenox, was taken to Will County Jail after investigators uncovered a stolen ring.

Police tracked down a $12,000 ring reported missing last month in the home of a New Lenox woman.

Christina Egdorf, 28, of the 1000 block of Shagbark Road in New Lenox, was taken to Will County Jail on Monday after New Lenox Police investigators uncovered stolen jewelry in her home.

Police were investigating the complaint of ring theft, which was filed April 26 by a man on the 1900 block of Foxwood Drive, when they discovered that Egdorf also stole a ring from a resident on the 600 block of Ridgefield Road.
