Police Nab 61-year-old Woman for Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance

A New Lenox police narcotics investigation resulted in the arrest of a 61-year-old Joliet woman.

A 61-year-old woman from Joliet was picked up after New Lenox police tracked down her alleged involvement in a scheme to deliver two controlled substances—Norco and Oxycotin.

According to Deputy Police Chief Bob Pawlisz, Joyce Dennis was arrested Jan. 10 and booked into the Will County jail after investigators found her in possession of 100 Norco pills along with a 40-count container of Oxycotin.

The investigation revealed that Joyce had illegally attempted to sell these prescription medications. She has been booked on two felony charges, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with an intent to deliver a controlled substance. Bond was set at $10,000.
