Police Find Oswego Woman Dead at Sybaris

Frankfort police say the death of a 53-year-old woman in a pool room at the hotel chain doesn't look suspicious.

Frankfort police are investigating the death of a woman found Friday morning in her room at Sybaris Pool Suites in Frankfort, according to a police press release.

"At this time, nothing appears to be suspicious," the release stated.

Police responded to a death investigation at the hotel, 7500 W. Lincoln Hwy., around 9 a.m. Friday, according to the report. Although police did not release information about the woman, the Chicago Tribune is reporting that she was a 53-year-old Oswego resident.

Despite the incident, it's "business as usual," hotel manager Fernando Murguia told Patch on Friday night.

Murguia said police did not give him much information about the woman's death. Citing company policy on guest confidentiality, Murguia could not release the woman's name or information about the woman.

The Will County Coroner's Office has scheduled an autopsy for Saturday. The woman's name is being held pending notification of her family.

N Yan, my comment was in response to the back and forth about the LW area, the mention of Walmart and calling someone a jerk. Not one of those remarks has anything to do with the article as it is currently printed. I stated in my comment that the quote was taken from the Southtown. The point I'm trying to make is that this story broke almost immediately after it happened. Until the police have time to conduct an investigation and the coroner does his thing, there is no clear cut answer as to exactly what happened. Hence, there is no need to start making rude comments about the situation or the area.

Let the police do their job and figure out what happened to this woman. We're so judgmental in the way we think and portray people. Take a look in the mirror...are you perfect? I think not! This woman has family and friends who care deeply for her and none of them need to read this bs speculation.
