Police Find Ecstasy on New Lenox Man

Police say they found 2 grams of ecstasy on Justin Roberts, 20, of New Lenox while investigating a suspicious person complaint at 7:42 a.m. Tuesday.

Police arrested a New Lenox man Tuesday and accused him of carrying a small amount of ecstasy.

Justin J. Richards, 20, of the 200 block of Sonoma Drive in New Lenox, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and taken to Will County Jail.

At 7:35 p.m., New Lenox police investigated a call of suspicious people in the 700 block of Sojourn Road. Police questioned Richards and took him to Will County Jail after finding 2 grams of ecstasy powder on him.

Sgt. Hilary Davis said there were two other people with Richards, but neither possessed any drugs. She said there were no signs any of the people, including Richards, was using the drug at the time.
