Police Bust New Lenox Man with 70 Grams of Weed

Christopher Rayson, 27, of New Lenox, was charged with possession of marijuana and the intent to deliver.

A New Lenox man was taken to Will County jail Monday after police executed a search warrant at his home and found 70 grams of marijuana.

Christopher Rayson, 27, of the 300 block of Sunset Trail in New Lenox, was charged with marijuana possession with the intent to deliver. Those charges were preferred to the State Attorney's Office.

Police said the investigations division was looking into drug dealing in town and was able to get a search warrant for Rayson's home. Upon executing the warrant, police say they found 70 grams of marijuana as well as items typically used to distribute the drug, including a scale and baggies.
