MONDAY, FEB. 20
Snowblower Theft
A snowblower was stolen from a garage in the 1400 block of Bayhill Drive. Police said there were no signs of forced entry.

Battery at Walgreens
Cynthia M. Barrett, 54, of Joliet, was charged with battery after punching another woman in the face, police said. Deputy Chief Bob Pawlisz said the victim was tailgaiting Barrett near the Walgreens on Schoolhouse Road, and after they both pulled into the store's parking lot they got into a fight. Barrett posted a recognizance bond and was released.
Residential Burglary
Residents in the 2300 block of Palmer Ranch Drive told police that a known suspect stole various items from the home. Police wouldn't say what the items were so as to not tip off the suspect.

Cell Phone Taken
A New Lenox man said someone stole his daughter's cell phone after she lost it at Spencer Crossing school.
Suspended License
Angela M. Brown, 30, of Joliet, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license after police randomly ran her plates near Interstate 80 and Route 30.
SATURDAY, FEB. 18
Possession of Drug Equipment
Matthew Stickler, 21, of the 12000 block of Steamboat Springs Drive in Mokena, was charged with possession of drug equipment, speeding and driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop in New Lenox. Police said Stickler was speeding near Francis and Schoolhouse roads, and after stopping him found a marijuana pipe in the car. Stickler was given tickets for the speeding and license charges, and was given a court date for the possession charge.
Warrant Arrest
Police made a traffic stop in New Lenox and found that the passenger, Andrew L. Marble, 25, of Joliet, had an active warrant for his arrest in Kendall County for the failure to appear in court. Marble posted a $300 bond and was released.
License Violations
- Marino Alvarado, 22, of Joliet, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license after police randomly ran his plates near Interstate 80 and Route 30.
- Jorge Pereda, 37, of Romeoville, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance or a valid license after police randomly ran his plates near Route 6 and Gougar Road.
- Cecilia Flores, 20, of Joliet, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance or a valid license after police randomly ran her plates near Route 30 and Nelson Road.
- Ricardo Guzman-Guerrero, 39, of Joliet, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license after police randomly ran his plates near Gougar Road and Route 6.
FRIDAY, FEB. 17
Residential Burglary
Police arrested a juvenile suspect in connection with a burglary at an apartment in the 200 block of South Prairie Road. The theft was reported Feb. 5 after various items were taken, including about $400 cash, a video game and an iTouch.
License Violations
- Zhamez Jackson, 34, of Berwyn, was ticketed for running a stop light and driving with a suspended license.
- Raquel Gonzalez, 28, of Joliet, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license and no valid license after police randomly ran her plates near Route 30 and Interstate 80.
- Luis J. Padilla, 18, of Joliet, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license after police randomly ran his plates near Route 30 and Interstate 80.
- Omar A. Zepeda, 39, of Joliet, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license and no insurance after police randomly ran his plates near Route 30 and Interstate 80.
- Daniel M. Cazares, 18, of Joliet, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license and without insurance after police andomly ran his plates near Route 30 and Interstate 80.
Fraud
A resident told police an unknown person used her debit card to make unauthorized purchases.
