Police Blotter: Thieves Hit 4 More Cars in Metra Lot

SATURDAY, JULY 9

Pool Wall Stolen

A resident on the 400 block of Lexington Road told police that someone stole a pool wall from the driveway of his home.

FRIDAY, JULY 8

Stereo Taken

While investigating another incident, an officer was approached by a woman on the 1000 block of Southgate Road who said someone stole stereo equipment from the trunk of her car, which was parked in the driveway.

Property Damage

A man on the 1000 block of Southgate Road told police that someone damaged his garage door.

Metra Lot Thefts

Police were called to the Metra lot at 300 Church St. Friday afternoon after a commuter noticed the catalytic converter was stolen from his car. The officer found three other vehicles, all Toyotas, that had the part missing.

Copper Piping Taken

A caller told police that someone entered an unoccupied home on the 100 block of Gear Drive and stole copper piping from the basement.
