SUNDAY, APRIL 1

Meat Theft

An unknown person stole a cart full of meat from the Jewel-Osco on Laraway Road.

Lost Dog Statue

A concrete dog statue was taken from a home in the 2600 block of Tanaga Basin.

Cell Phone Taken

A woman called police to Charleston's restaurant and said someone stole her cell phone.

Cars Burglarized

  • Someone stole various items from a car parked in the 800 block of Willowfield.
  • A radio was taken from a car parked in the 700 block of Sojourn Road. 

License Violations

  • Chiquita Gordon, 23, of Joliet, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license after police randomly ran her plates near Route 30 and Gougar Road.
  • Rebecca Pasierb, 30, of Lockport, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license and no insurance after police randomly ran her plates near Interstate 355 and Silver Cross Boulevard.

Why is All the Rum Gone?

Someone stole a bottle of rum from the Jewel-Osco on Nelson Road. 

Property Damage

Someone damaged the side mirror on a car parked in the Metra commuter lot at 300 N. Church St. 

Jewelry Stolen

About $2,800 worth of jewelry was stolen from a home in the 200 block of East Woodlawn Road.

License Violations

  • Juan Murillo, 40, of Joliet, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license and no insurance after police randomly ran his plates near Route 30 and Gougar Road. 
  • Raymundo Almaraz, 32, of Joliet, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license after police randomly ran his plates near Gougar Road and Ellis Court.
