Police Blotter: Slew of Suspended Licenses

New Lenox Police reports, Sept. 3-8.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 8

Suspended Licenses

  • Patricia A. Winkleman, 24, of the 1500 block of Regan Road in New Lenox, was charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance. She was given traffic tickets.
  • Larry D. Smith, 35, of the 200 block of Circlegate Road in New Lenox, was charged with driving with a suspended license, suspended registration, no insurance and no front license plate. He was given traffic tickets.

No License

Martin D. Cullen, 26, of Mokena, was charged with driving without a valid license, with expired registration, without insurance and with a cracked windshield. He was given traffic tickets.

Tools Stolen

Someone stole tools from a garage in the 2000 block of Washington Street, according to a police report.

Fence Damaged

Pieces of fence boards were taken from the area behind Target in New Lenox.

No License

  • Ruth Hernandez, 42, of Joliet, was charged with driving without a valid license, without insurance and with suspended registration. She was given traffic tickets. 
  • Marco Silva, 27, of Joliet, was charged with driving with a tinted license plate cover, suspended registration and no valid license. He was given traffic tickets. 
  • Dario Toto, 33, of Orland Park, was charged with driving without a valid license and without insurance. He was given traffic tickets.

Suspended License

  • Jose L. Arias, 24, of Joliet, was charged with driving with a suspended license, suspended registration and no front license plate. He was given traffic tickets.
  • Ivan M. Barrera, 20, of Joliet, was charged with driving with a suspended license, suspended registration and no insurance. He was given traffic tickets.
  • Taisha L. Wade, 32, of Gary, Ind., was charged with driving with a suspended license, without insurance and without valid registration. She was given traffic tickets.

MONDAY, SEPT. 5

Home Damaged

Someone illegally entered a home in the 1400 block of Francis Road and damaged numerous items, according to a police report.

No Insurance

  • Madia Figueroa, 19, of Joliet, was charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and running a red light in the 600 block of East Lincoln Highway. She was given traffic tickets.
  • Michael J. Spatola, 50, of Manhattan, was charged with driving without insurance and without a valid license. He was given traffic tickets.  

SATURDAY, SEPT. 3

Residential Burglary

Someone entered a home in the 2800 block of Shannon Lane in New Lenox and stole a purse, according to a police report.
