Matteson Resident Busted with Weed

Lauren Gresham, 26, of Matteson, was charged with marijuana possession after New Lenox police pulled her over near Route 30 and Gougar Road. Police randomly ran her license plates and discovered she was driving without a valid driver's license, noting that it was suspended. Gresham was given traffic tickets for the license offenses and posted bond for the marijuana possession.

Police blotter information is provided by law enforcement agencies. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions taken on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. If you or a family member are charged or cited and the case is subsequently adjudicated, we encourage you to notify the editor. We will verify and report the outcome.
