GPS Stolen

A resident told police a GPS unit was missing from his car after getting his oil changed at Valvoline Express.

Suspended License

Rachel Kazlauskas, 21, of Lockport, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license after police randomly ran her license plate at Route 30 and Nelson Road.

FRIDAY, JAN. 20

Wallet Stolen

A woman's wallet was stolen from a shopping cart in the Jewel-Osco parking lot on Laraway Road. The woman left her purse in the shopping cart, and after realizing that she went back to retrieve it and found the wallet missing.

Property Damage

A resident in the 700 block of Churchill Drive in New Lenox told police that an unknown person ran over her mail box in a Ford F-150 truck.

License Violations

  • Lavell Grant, 24, of Markharm, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license and disobeying a traffic light and Gougar Road and Haven Avenue.
  • Bruce Jackson, 41, of Joliet, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license after police randomly ran his plates near Route 30 and Interstate-80.
  • Andrew Pakalski, 42, of the 200 block of Kingston Drive in New Lenox, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license after police randomly ran his plates near Route 30 and Gougar Road.

Protection Order

Shawn Earls, 36, of the 1100 block of North Cooper Road in New Lenox, was charged with violating an order of protection. He was taken to Will County Jail pending a bond hearing.

DUI

Thomas W. Marconi, 22, of the 1800 block of Eagle Circle in New Lenox, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after he was stopped near the intersection of Joe Orr Road and Coolidge Street in Chicago Heights.
