Police Blotter: DUI, Car Window Broken

monday, jan. 3

Suspended License

Tamila Smith, 29, of Indiana, was charged with driving with a suspended license and expired registration and without valid insurance when she was pulled over near Interstate-80 and Route 30 at about 7:30 p.m.

Justin Tamborski, 22, of the 2600 block of Walter Drive, was charged with driving on a suspended license. He was pulled over near Maple and Vine streets at 1:55 a.m. when an officer saw that he didn't have a front license plate.

Revoked License

Eric Saenz, 27, of the 1000 block of Cedar Road, was charged with driving on a revoked license and without valid insurance. He also was issued citations for having an obstructed and improperly lit license plate when he was pulled over at about 11:30 p.m. at Cedar Road and Fourth Street.

Car Window Broken

A New Lenox man on the 800 block of Mustang Road told police that someone smashed the window of his vehicle.

Walmart Theft

Joshua Blocker, 34, of Bolingbrook, was found to have a warrant for his arrest in Cook County for the failure to appear in court. New Lenox police found him while investigating a retail theft at Walmart in New Lenox. Blocker was released on a $1,000 bond.

DUI Alleged

Jodi Tolimieri, 42, of the 700 block of Bishops Gate, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after she was pulled over at about 1:40 a.m. the night of New Year's Eve. Tolimieri was also issued citations for speeding, running a traffic sign, the failure to yield and making an improper turn.
