Police Blotter: Drugs, Vodka Stolen From Stores
New Lenox police reports, April 30 to May 3.
THURSDAY, MAY 3
Suspended License
- Judy Zyla, 47, of the 700 block of Sojourn Road in New Lenox, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license after police randomly ran her plates near Route 30 and Prairie Road.
- Victor Maldanado, 30, of Chicago, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license after police randomly ran his plates in the 200 block of Haven Avenue.
Arrest Warrant
Cheyenne McKune, 32, of Neenah, WI, was stopped by police for driving without headlights. They discovered he had an active warrant for his arrest in Hancock County for the failure to appear in court. He posted bond and was released.

Walmart Theft
Adam Homer, 18, of the 200 block of Meadow Path in New Lenox, was charged with retail theft. Police said Homer stole a bottle of vodka from the Walmart in New Lenox. He posted bond and was released.

CVS Theft
An unknown person stole about $150 of Prilosec OTC, an antacid drug, from the CVS in the 2400 block of Nelson Road in New Lenox.
Suspended License
Matthew McElyea, 40, of Joliet, was ticketed for driving with a suspended license and suspended registration. He was given traffic tickets.
