Police Blotter: Basketball Hoop Stolen; 2 Charged With DUIs

Thursday, April 7

DUIs Alleged

Police say Pamela Malone, 42, of Lockport, ran a red light near Route 30 and Gougar Road at about 3 a.m. Thursday. After pulling her over, police say they discovered she was driving under the influence of alcohol. She was given traffic tickets.

Erik Gunderson, 31, of the 600 block of Misty Creek Drive, was stopped by police after they said he was driving without a rear registration light and ran ran a red light. After stopping him, police say Gunderson was driving under the influence of alcohol and illegally transporting the booze. He was also charged with a suspended license and given traffic citations.

Wednesday, April 6

Basketball Game Stolen

A man on the 700 block of Sojourn Road told police that someone stole a basketball shooting game from his garage. Police are investigating the incident.

Suspended License

Jonathan Flakes, 42, of Joliet, was charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police said he did not have a working tail light. He was given traffic citations.

Tuesday, April 5

Debit Card Fraud

A resident on the 200 block of Prairie Road told police that someone used her debit card to make about $200 of unauthorized purchases. Police are investigating the incident.

Prescription Meds Stolen

A woman told New Lenox police that someone stole prescription medication from her purse. Police are investigating the incident.

Monday, April 4

Property Damage

A resident on the 200 block of East Woodlawn told police that an unknown person scratched her car. Police are investigating the incident.
