Edmond P. Knowles, 32, of the 400 block of South Marley Road in New Lenox, was booked in the county jail and charged with aggravated DUI, driving without insurance and a hit-and-run accident.

A resident in the 700 block of Tauber Road told police that a known offender was repeatedly calling and sending offensive text messages.

Kyle J. Kodatt, 26, of the 800 block of Prairie Road in New Lenox, was charged with theft and booked in the county jail.
