Property Damage

Someone damaged the side of a car parked in the 700 block of Sojourn Road.

Construction Equipment Stolen

Someone stole $1,600 of construction equipment from a site at Route 30 and West Circle Drive.

Car Damaged

Someone broke the windshield and damaged the driver's side door of a car in the 800 block of Winter Park Drive.

TUESDAY, OCT. 4

Bike Stolen

A bike was taken from the football fields behind sometime during the afternoon.

Aldi Construction Theft

About $1,500 of construction equipment was stolen overnight from the Aldi Foods construction site at 351 E. Route 30.

License Violations

  • Gary R. Zielinski, 47, of the 2900 block of Rebecca Drive in New Lenox, was charged with the failure to signal and driving with a revoked license. He was given traffic tickets.
  • Efren Hernandez-Gutierrez, 26, of Joliet, was charged with driving with a suspended license. He was given a traffic ticket.
  • Jesus Soria, 42, of Joliet, was charged with driving without a valid license after police randomly ran his license plates at Cedar and Michigan roads. He was given a traffic ticket.
  • Joel Miramontes, 39, of Joliet, was charged with driving without a valid license and without insurance after police randomly ran his license plates at Illinois Highway and Pine Street. He was given traffic tickets. 

MONDAY, OCT. 3

License Violations

  • Daniel J. Malec, 29, of Orland Park, was charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and improperly displaying his registration after police randomly ran his license plates on Cedar Road. He was given traffic tickets.
  • Arturo Gutierrez, 31, of Chicago Heights, was charged with driving with a suspended license and without insurance after police randomly ran his license plates in the 2300 block of East Route 30. He was given traffic tickets.
  • Elizabeth Valez, 47, of Joliet, was charged with driving with a suspended license and without insurance after police noticed a registration violation. She was given traffic tickets.
  • Victor H. Lule, 26, of Joliet, was charged with driving without a valid license after police randomly ran his license plates at Joliet Highway and Schoolhouse Road. He was given a traffic ticket.
