Police Blotter: 2 Mailboxes Damaged

New Lenox Police reports, Aug. 26-29.

SUNDAY, AUG. 28

DUI Charges

Daniel J. Warren, 64, of Joliet, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near Central and Ogden roads. Police said they saw Warren make a lane violation and pulled him over at 1:39 p.m. Warren also was charged with the lane violation and driving without insurance. He posted bond and awaits a court date.

No Valid License

Justin M. Fleck, 23, of the 800 block of Ogden Road in New Lenox, was charged with driving without a valid license. He was given a traffic ticket.

Craig A. Calomino, 38, of Mokena, was charged with driving without a valid license after New Lenox police randomly ran his license plates near Laraway Road and Tower Lane. Calomino was given a traffic ticket.

Mailboxes Damaged

Police received two complaints of damaged mailboxes Saturday. The first call came in at 6:48 a.m. from the 400 block of Heartland Drive, and the second came at 5:56 p.m. from the 600 block of Wisconsin Road.

Suspended License

Esmeralda Alpuche, 33, of Joliet, was charged with driving with a suspended license after police randomly ran her license plates near Gougar Road and Haven Avenue. After stopping her, police discovered she was driving without insurance and had a warrant for her arrest. Alpuche was taken to Will County Jail.

FRIDAY, AUG. 26

Suspended License

Maria S. Chavez-Chavez, 25, of Joliet, was charged with driving with a suspended license and without insurance after police randomly ran her license plates near Laraway and Nelson roads. She was given traffic tickets.

Lakedra A. Johns, 24, of Joliet, was charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and not wearing a seat belt after police randomly ran her license plates near Cedar and Laraway roads. She was given traffic tickets.
