New Lenox Woman's Credit Card Used to Make 'Unauthorized Purchases': Police

The police learned of the credit card caper Saturday evening.

A New Lenox woman's credit card was used by a mystery person to make "unauthorized purchases," police said.

Police were alerted to the credit card crime about 7:15 p.m. Saturday. An officer was sent to meet a woman on Vanderbilt Drive and was told an "unknown person used her credit card to make unauthorized purchases," police said.

The matter was sent to detectives with the New Lenox Police Department for review.
