New Lenox Woman Jailed For Trying to Get Prescription Pain Pills

The New Lenox woman forged a prescription to get Norco, police said.

A New Lenox woman tried passing a forged prescription to get pain pills from the CVS on Nelson Road.

Grisel Aguilera, 42, of 900 White Lane was charged with prescription fraud in connection with the alleged 1:30 p.m. attempt to get pills from the CVS.

An "officer was dispatched to CVS for a report of prescription fraud," police said.

"The complainant advised that she had received prescription she believed to be fraudulent," police said. "A subsequent investigation revealed that Aguilera had forged (a) prescription to obtain Norco.

Aguilera was taken to the Will County jail.
