Paige M. Doljanin, 18, of the 3200 block of Lightning Court in New Lenox, was charged with obstructing a peace officer for running from police after they found marijuana on an Orland Park man.

A New Lenox woman was charged with obstructing police in Orland Park after running from officers and trying to wake up the parents of a man who was busted with marijuana.

Orland Park Police said they were patrolling the 11300 block of Pinecrest Circle around 11 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, when they noticed Adam Salameh, 19, of Orland Park, smoking on his driveway with a group of people.

Recognizing Salameh from a previous arrest for underage consumption of alcohol, police said they approached the home for questioning. Officers found a glass pipe with residual marijuana and a small bag of marijuana in Salameh's cargo shorts, police said. Salameh was charged with possession of cannabis.
