Cell Phone Stolen

Someone stole a cell phone from an unlocked car in the 800 block of Cheyenne Lane.

Gas Stolen at Circle K

Police responded to a theft complaint from staff at the Circle K Gas Station in the 400 block of Nelson Road. According to the report, a motorist drove off without paying for $60 worth of gas.

SATURDAY, AUG. 25

Vehicle Damaged

Someone damaged the right side mirror of a vehicle parked in the 2800 block of Cole Lane. 

FRIDAY, AUG. 24

Fishing Poles Stolen

Two fishing poles were stolen from a garage in the 1500 block of Coventry Road. Police say someone forcibly entered the garage. The value of the poles is unknown. 

Revoked License

Kevin Renfro, 47, of the 14000 block of Illinois Highway in New Lenox, was stopped in his vehicle in the area of Illinois Highway and Ogden Road after officers noticed that his vehicle was missing a plate light. A check of his identifying information revealed that his license had been revoked. Renfrom was taken to Will County Jail. 

Traffic Violations

Kenneth Woerheide, 59, of the 600 block of Marley Road in New Lenox, was cited for driving on a revoked license after a random registration check in the area of Route 30 and Marley Road. Police learned that he was also driving an uninsured vehicle. He was ticketed and released, according to the report.

Traffic Violations

Qiana Bond, 32, of Joliet, was stopped on a reported speeding violation in the area of Francis and Creekside Roads. A computer check of her records revealed that she was driving on a revoked license as well. She was issued tickets and released, police said.
