A New Lenox man got caught stealing from the local Walmart, police said.

Mark Miller, 32, of 116 S. Cooper Road was charged with retail theft about 4 p.m. Thursday.

An officer sent to the East Lincoln Highway superstore to investigate a theft complaint was told "Miller removed merchandise from the shelf and left the store without paying for the merchandise," police said.

Miller was released after posting bond.
