New Lenox Man Arrested in Strip Club Clobberin'

Timothy J. Halperin, 22, of the 100 block of Roberts Drive in New Lenox, was arrested and charged with battery following a Monday night fracas at Jimmy's Gentlemen's Club in Chicago Heights.

An employee at Jimmy's asked him to leave because of a disturbance he caused, according to police. Halperin screamed obscenities, slapped the employee's phone out of his hand and stepped on the phone, before the employee tried to escort Halperin out of the club.

Halperin then began punching the employee in the face and body with a closed fist before being arrived and took him into custody, police said.
