New Lenox Man Allegedly Caught With 12 Pounds of Pot

The New Lenox police arrested a man on drug charges after finishing up a three-month investigation.

The New Lenox cops raided a man's house and found he had 12 pounds of pot, police said.

Vito Carbone, 55, of 736 Ogden Road in New Lenox was taken into custody at his home Wednesday. He was booked into the Will County jail on charges of manufacturing or delivering cannabis and the possession of drug paraphernalia.

Carbone's arrest marked the culmination of a narcotics investigation started in December, police said.
