New Lenox Credit Card Thief Nabbed: Felony Identity Theft Charges
A trail of fraudulent credit card purchases led to the arrest of an East Chicago, Ind. by New Lenox police.
The trail of small purchases made with a credit card stolen in early January from a New Lenox resident led to the arrest of an East Chicago, Ind. man.
Anthony Peters, 27, was nabbed Feb. 13 by New Lenox police investigators. He was booked into Will County jail pending formal charges for identity theft and felony theft. Bond was set at $50,000.
According to NLPD Sgt. Hilary Davis, the card was stolen Jan. 8 from a vehicle parked in the 2800 block of Sharon Drive. Police traced numerous fraudulent credit card charges to Peters.
