One man had a warrant from Kankakee County and the other from Will County.

The New Lenox cops recently collared a pair of wanted men.

First, about 4:30 Wednesday, Richard Eberhart, 36, of 23211 S. Malibu Drive in Manhattan was arrested in the 1900 block of Water Chase Drive.

An "officer observed a vehicle that had an expired registration plate and conducted a stop," police said. "The officer discovered that the driver, Eberhart, had a warrant for his arrest from Kankakee County."

Eberhart was taken to the Will County jail.

Then, shortly before 6 p.m. Friday, the police arrested Matthew Fields, 28, of 20749 S. Birchwood Lane in Frankfort near the corner of Haven and Warren Avenues.

An "officer observed a vehicle that had no front registration plate and conducted a stop," police said. "The officer discovered that the driver, Fields, had a warrant for his arrest from Will County."
